If you’re having trouble fitting into your favorite jeans, your JOB may be to blame. If you’re like me, you spend considerable amounts of time at your desk relatively inactive. Perhaps you’re sipping a 300-calorie Frappuccino while you work. Yep, I’m guilty.
On July 22nd, I’m going to speak with weight loss coach Kim Knight about weight control at the office! An article in the August issue of Prevention says that spending the day planted in your chair could increase your risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) – that’s swelling, pain and potentially fatal blood vessel damage. Yikes! Luckily, all you have to do to fight this is take a walk every hour or so.
